A native to Little Rock, she loves bringing the world of coffee and creatives under one roof. Amy met her hubs, Reid, at Nexus over coffee and waffles! Together, they have a rescued coonhound named Riley. You’ll spot her most days talking about her favorite show, The Office, and dreaming up tons of new projects. 'You won’t find our “Shop Dad” on social media, but you will find him doing dishes and all things maintenance at the shop. He loves being everyone’s biggest cheerleader, learning a new skill, and teaching entrepreneurship business classes to prison inmates. He has a heart for ministry and people. Nona is our in-house baker and owner of “Nona Bakes”! She learned to bake from her mom and loves creating new and interesting creations, while sticking true to her homemade roots and style. You’ll find Jake either on stage, behind a laptop, or drinking coffee with the Narwhals while handling our marketing and branding efforts. He’s always making people feel welcome, and it isn’t hard when he refers to himself as a blend of Cory Matthews, Ben Wyatt, and Lorelei Gilmore. Ben is excited to join the Narwhals team as our Coffee & Culture Manager! Ben keeps the shop running by handling all of our ordering and logistics, as well as coming up with new, creative ideas for our menu! David is excited to join the Narwhals team as our Communications & Development Manager! David oversees our Community Coffee program, as well as our burgeoning community and non-profit efforts. CJ is excited to join the Narwhals as our Catering & Events Manager! CJ assists our baker, Nona, with all of her delicious treats, as well as helping plan our in-house events, booking our live music acts for our Saturday Serenade concerts, and contacting artists and vendors for our Meet the Makers vendor shows and Art Installs. Kim is a lover of organizing and finding the perfect for someone, which makes her the best person to handle all of our local retail! She is a graduate of U of A, a recent graduate of the Charis Bible College, and the proud mother of two terrific kids. She strives to be a servant to others and helping people find what makes them happy!
